The Office of Executive Counsel conducts the Commission's monthly Business and Executive Sessions, represents and defends the Commission in state and federal court as well as in cases before other regulatory agencies. Provides general legal advice to the Executive Secretary and the Commissioners on regulatory and non-regulatory legal issues and represents the Commission in non-regulatory cases such as civil service appeals. Handles all public records requests, requests for opinions and the issuing of Requests for Proposals and provides any other assistance as required by the Commission.
